If you live in Georgia and you or someone in your family needs health care, you should apply for Georgia Medicaid even if you are not sure whether you qualify or if you have been turned down in the past.
You may qualify for Georgia Medicaid if you have low/no income, and at least one of the following:
- You are pregnant
- You are a child or teenager
- You are age 65 or older
- You are legally blind
- You have a disability
- You need nursing home care
You can apply for Georgia Medicaid benefits yourself online. Visit Georgia Gateway and click Apply for Benefits. You can also use this site if you already get benefits and want to renew or manage them online.
